Tele-Play Therapy

Tele-Play Therapy

Tele-Play Therapy is available for families in locations that don’t have a local play therapist close by. For your child to participate in Tele-Play Therapy, they will need to have reliable internet access, a device such as a lap top or tablet, a few toys that can be put away in between sessions and a confidential space to play in. Your therapist will talk you through a few resources that will be required, most of which you will already have at home. You will need to keep your phone close by during your child’s session in case your therapist needs to reach you for some hands on support. Tele-Play Therapy follows a similar structure to our in person Play Therapy sessions.

Tele-Play Therapy is available to families who are unable to attend one of our offices in person. Your child will work with their therapist via video link using child-centred play therapy just as if they were in one of our playrooms.
